Everywhere - Elegance!

Winter.  Holidays. Parties.  Dinners, Shows. So many wonderful treats and happy times with loved ones and long lost beaus. I'm just lapping it up and drooling over some of the great clothes choices that we have.  Right now I need a couple of evening gown dresses to put on the dog and really try to dress up to the occasion. There are tons of smashing choices for us this year, so let's do our due diligence and go shop!

ff and running, I spot some truly gorgeous evening gown dresses at Neiman Marcus.  Spend some time with me online and if we see something that looks like it's going to work we'll swing down to the store and spend a morning in the fitting rooms.So here we go.  The first dress that I want you to see is a Marchesa Polka-Dot Gown in a black/metallic gold polka dot print. Spaghetti straps, empire waist, gathered bodice; floor length skirt.90% silk, 10% metallic. It's Neiman's item  # NMOF8_T16CN.  The price is $950. 

The next one is oh so different.  A very clean, simple shirt and skirt look to it. By Chetta B, it is actually a shirt and skirt. A two-toned Corset Blouse: White top; black corset waist. Plunging V neckline; high spread collar. Long sleeves; gauntlet cuffs with jeweled buttons coupled with a trumpet Skirt in black. Very cool. Neiman's item # NMOF8_T18NM  The pair together $560.

Let's try another of the major merchants that we work with all the time - Bloomingdale's. And oh my! Just my thing! Laundry by Shelli Segal One Shoulder Long Dress. It's black polyester, off the shoulder and slit on the left side to a point of interest.  It's Bloomie's Item Number: 66676 Price: $270  It's for me!

What else?  Let's look for something upscale and elegant for the big to-do at the office over the holidays. Eating, dancing and gossiping, but the brass will be in attendance and things get reported! So got to behave, girl! I don't see what I want so let's hie ourselves over to Nordstrom's and there you are, got it! This one is really stunning. It's a  Nicole Miller Strapless Crinkle Organza Gown.  Floor-length in a stretch organza with a slight metallic sheen. Color-blocked inset finishes the hem which falls to a slight, godet-inset back train. It really is a terrific dress - well - gown! This will cause a sharp intake of breath on entry.  Nordstrom's item # 36479 It's $620 but I don't care.  he told me to get something decent.  Well this is it! What do you think?
